Namaste II

¨Our eyes met in the wedding ceremony. He was from the groom side and myself from bride side. I must say it was love at first sight…….¨, says Bebika Shrestha Pradhan soon to be married to Prashnna Pradhan. We had spoken about Prashanna earlier, in detail. This is the continuation to the story ¨NAMASTE¨. I have named it ¨NAMASTE 2¨. I am their fan. Bebika and Prashanna´s love story begin in a filmy way. But I must say it is really cute, truly. And the best part is that they are getting married in one week's time.

Bebika added, ¨I was standing outside the house to look the groom. And, as I turned to the right side my eyes met him. He was tall, smart and very handsome (laughing in happiness). I felt the butterflies in my stomach then and there. My heart beat rose and smile was born. I really wished I had the perfect word to describe my feelings…. at that point, the only thing I wanted to do was just stare at him..all I wanted was that boy..the boy of my dream……¨

My excitement jumped to the maximum level. But, I felt a little pain in my heart remembering my past. All I had in my mind was, wish I could go back and make everything right again, I really wish…. I let go my thoughts and begin to listen to Bebika again,¨Throughout the wedding, I noticed him. I was lost in my own world. I did not know how time flew by. I liked him. While a lot was going on, I spoke to my sister. She laughed out at first in a teasing manner…she told me she had notice me and said, ¨Ya, he is nice.¨ That wasn´t it. We laughed and joked about it. And, she advised me to talk to him which I did not (laughing).¨
Bebika watched every move of Prashanna. He roamed here and there continuously with his Ipad. She recalls, ¨I ignored to talk to him even though my sister pushed me couple of times. That day along with his handsomeness he looked very arrogant that said to me, ¨He has a lot of attitude.¨ (laughing out loud this time). He never sat in one place. He kept moving here and there with his Ipad……¨
Ï interruped her this time. I choked out. I did not know the exact reason. And, I smiled to bring the same vibe again. All this time, I was in lost her words and back again in my past. The past memories was flowing in my blood and I could feel the joy that I once had. I drank a cup of water. And requested sister-in-law to continue the story. She began, ¨I questioned and wondered due to his restlessness…Why is he roaming here and there?..Why is he sitting all by himself?…But funnily I did not have the answer to my own questions…. I tried to talk to him but my heart said not to..each time I tried but my heart pulled me back from going close to him..…My mind said talk to him whereas my heart said do not talk to him…¨
The wedding ended with tears of happiness and joy. Marriage is a funny thing. It takes away from one family and gives to another family, isn´t it? Does not it bring tears in one family and happiness in the other family, does it???? But, It always bring two families together to share their joy and happiness.
Days went by and so weeks. She thought she would never get a second chance. Every day she thought about that moment that was very pleasant and nourishing. And, then the earthquake came by. It closed down everything and brought everyone to the streets. Every day, she thought about him and every single move he made. The days became more boring and horrible, the more she waited for him until ……..
¨After the second earthquake, I went out with my cousin for refreshment. And, there I saw him in cafe with a girl. It confused me in two ways; I was not sure whether it was him? And even if it was him who is the girl? Girlfriend?? Sister???….. I asked my cousin without a second thought, ¨Is that the same boy we saw in the wedding?¨ …She was as confused as I was. However when our eyes met for second time, I felt the magic; we were made for each other. The girl next to him just disappeared in my eyes even thought she was right in front of my eyes. Yet, that day too I returned home without a word with him.¨
The very next morning Bebika signed in her Facebook. She scrolled and scrolled for a reason she had no idea. She messaged her sister ¨What was that boy´s name who had big holes in his ears?¨ Her sister did not know his name, too. The newly wed sister messaged ¨Prashanna Pradhan¨ after a word with her hubby. This news overwelmed young Bebika.
Immediately, she typed his name on the search box but could not find him. And so, she look into his brother´s (Vena) friend-lists. It was not hard to find him there. Quickly, she second checked his profile to be sure. Then she sent him a friend request and waited. There was no answer for few hours. This made her nervous as well as curious, too. Finally, her wait was over. He accepted her friend request. She hugged her sister in delight because she felt she was the happiest girl on the planet.
She messaged him, ¨Hey, do you recognised me?¨.
¨Yes, I saw you at the wedding.¨ was the reply.
And, so their conversation begin from here. They chatted for hours. They were lost in their own world. There was no track of time. The night rolled down. She asked him to go bed because she had to wake up early and do kitchen chores. He did as she had asked. And, before they went to bed they exchanged their number since he used messenger very less. This made her even happier and luckier. It was like a dream come true to her.
The next day, she told him she had to drop her little brother to his aunt house. He asked her if he could come with her. This surprised her. And she asked her sister ¨Should I go with him or not?¨
This is our first photo
¨Do as you wish, as you heart says.¨ was the reply. And, they went together since she wanted to talk to him and meet him. She did not want to wait any longer and this was the short she had. After they dropped the young boy they visited his friend at Jhor. And, he dropped her home with a word to meet again.
Few days later he shocked her. He proposed her in the middle of the night. It was exactly the opposite way. She always thought she would be the first to express her feelings. A lot of things ran in her mind. She was like, ¨What??? I am supposed to be the first one… not you…hahaha.. you are my crush and you proposed me…¨
she felt the goosebumps that made her the princess in the heaven´s garden. She could not control her joy. She danced along with the butterflies in her stomach. She could hear her heart beats and so his voice. She accepted his proposal and shared her feelings right from the beginning. From that day onwards, they met daily and spoke every night. There was not a single day, they have not met and single night they have not spoken.
She says, ¨In a relationship there is always a misunderstanding, fights and struggles. We were also the victims. But he has never left me alone in any situation…Yes sometimes he is childish and sometimes a matured person.. but either way he makes me smile and lucky girl….his love and care makes me fall in love with him every day…cannot thank him enough for coming in my life.....he makes my day meaningful and healthy one….¨
¨I will never leave his hand till my last breath. This is my vow on our wedding day.¨, promised Bebika.

The mandala tattoo was her 19th Birthday gift. It was inked by Prashanna at Thamel Babu´s Studio. ¨This mandala represents the inner peace and all the excitement that I have experience from the day I saw him till date. It is dedicated to my husband for all the joy he brings in my life…I will not remove it under any cost and will always be with me….¨, shared my sister-in-law.

A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism that represents the universe and often exhibit radial balance. The common design of mandala is a square with four gates (T shape) containing a circle with a center point.
